June 17–19
(Note: the weekend before Midsummer is officially celebrated in Sweden)

Experience a Midsummer weekend where ancient traditions meet the tranquility of the wilderness—with Fulufjället National Park as the backdrop and local cuisine as the central theme. This is authentic Midsummer: no stress, no crowds—just nature, flavors, and good company.

Program
Day 1 – Arrival & Midsummer dinner
Check in at Turistgården and settle in. In the evening, we gather for a dinner featuring the region’s local produce—a delicious start and a first taste of what’s to come.

Day 2 – Sunrise & Midsummer food
Early Friday morning, we head out on a guided hike in Fulufjället National Park to greet the sunrise as the mountain awakens and the sky turns gold. We pause to cook breakfast over an open fire—a rustic and memorable start to one of the year’s longest days. We hike to Njupeskär, one of Sweden’s largest waterfalls, to watch the sun rise and strike the falls—a spectacle that occurs only during the few days surrounding the Midsummer solstice.

Back at Turistgården, there is time to unwind before we serve a traditional Midsummer lunch. In the afternoon, you can go hiking, take a swim, or simply relax in the garden. The evening concludes with a barbecue dinner prepared using local ingredients—enjoyed in good company amidst the light of the summer night.

Day 3 – Breakfast & departure
Wake up to the peace of the countryside and enjoy a final breakfast before checking out. Take home memories of nature, flavors, and a Midsummer celebration out of the ordinary.
