Your visit begins with a warm welcome dinner featuring a three-course menu inspired by the tastes of the region. During your stay, you’ll reside comfortably at the historic Turistgården in Särna, surrounded by nature – the perfect retreat after the day’s adventures.
 
The highlight of your trip is a guided snowshoe hike through Fulufjället National Park. Join us on a magical journey through snowy forests and across pristine mountain landscapes. We’ll take you to hidden gems while sharing insights about the unique nature of Fulufjället.  Lunch becomes an interactive experience as we stop at a scenic spot and light an open fire. Here, you’ll help prepare the day’s meal alongside your guide. Together, we’ll create a rustic, warming dish made from local ingredients – a memory to savor both in taste and spirit.  
As the day transitions into evening, the snowshoe hike takes on an even more enchanting atmosphere. On the way back, we light torches that illuminate the sparkling snow, creating an unforgettable ambiance. With the serene stillness of nature around you and the glow of the torches guiding your way, you’ll experience the mountains in a way that is both peaceful and awe-inspiring.  
Back at Turistgården, you can warm up in the wood-fired sauna, ready and waiting for you. In the evening, another delicious three-course dinner awaits.

Program for Your Winter Experience in Fulufjället
Day 1: Arrival and Welcome Dinner
- From 4:00 PM, you are warmly welcomed to check in at the charming Turistgården in Särna, where the tranquility of nature meets the cozy atmosphere of the mountains.  
- At 6:00 PM, we invite you to a delicious three-course dinner, featuring dishes inspired by the finest local ingredients from Dalarna. Sit back, relax, and let us indulge your taste buds. You'll meet your guide, Daniel, who will tell you all about the next day's adventure. You'll try on and adjust your snowshoes so that you're ready to go! 
 
Day 2: Nature, Flavors, and Magical Torchlight
8:00–9:00 AM: Start your day with a delightful breakfast buffet showcasing local specialties.  
9:00 AM: Your guide Daniel will pick you up, and together you'll travel by minibus to Fulufjället National Park.  
- Embark on a guided snowshoe hike through sparkling winter forests and open mountain vistas. At a scenic spot, you'll stop to cook lunch together over an open fire – a rustic and memorable culinary experience.  
- As dusk falls, the hike transforms into something magical. With torches lighting the snowy path, you'll make your way back through an enchanting landscape.  
4:00–5:00 PM: After the day’s adventure, return to Turistgården, where a warm wood-fired sauna awaits to help you unwind.  
6:30 PM: End the day with another exquisite three-course dinner – a celebration of Dalarna’s unique flavors.  
Day 3: A Final Treat Before Departure
8:00–9:00 AM: Conclude your stay with a leisurely breakfast featuring local delicacies, giving you time to reflect on your experiences.  
By 11:00 AM: It’s time to check out, but we hope you’ll leave with memories that warm both your heart and soul.

Additional Information 
- The tour lasts approximately 5.5 hours, so please dress warmly. We will contact you beforehand to discuss the equipment you will need to bring.  
- The hike will take place regardless of weather or temperature, except in cases of avalanche danger.  
- We will walk about 4 kilometers through ancient forest on a partially rugged trail.  
- The tour is suitable for all levels and requires no prior experience.  
- The tour is suitable for children over 12 years old.  
- This is a digital detox hike.
